Installation and setup guide

Detailed guide for working with widget "Hiding fields [by values of other fields] in Kommo"

Widget setup

To configure fields, go to the lead, contact, or company card and click the "Customize" button.

After clicking on the "Customize" button, we will need to create the fields that we need. For example, let’s create 2 fields, one of which is “Dwelling Type”, and the other “Apartment Price”

After creation, you need to update the lead, again go to the “Customize” item, in the field that we want to hide, in our case it is the “Apartment Price” field, by going to it we need to check the “Limit display” item and select our second field “Dwelling type”

Now, if the value of the "Dwelling Type" field is "apartment", the "Apartment Price" field will appear, and if there is any other value in the "Dwelling Type" field, the "Apartment Price" field will not be displayed.

Now, if the value of the "Dwelling Type" field is "apartment", the "Apartment Price" field will appear, and if there is any other value in the "Dwelling Type" field, the "Apartment Price" field will not be displayed

Restricting rights to edit fields in a card

The functionality allows you to limit the editing rights of individual fields in a lead, contact, or company card - for example, the “Bonus” field. At the same time, users still see the field value, but cannot change it.

  • Go to card settings
  • Select the required field
  • Select users for whom access will be limited

Multilist fields

If you choose to hide fields by a multi-select field (or by several list values), the values from the multi-select/list must be specified separated by semicolons ; and without spaces.
